Ripping Yarns - Complete (DVD)

While John Cleese's FAWLTY TOWERS is probably the most celebrated project undertaken by any of the Monty Python crew in their post-Python years, this comedy gem from Michael Palin and Terry Jones is an unheralded side-splitter. RIPPING YARNS first aired in 1976, and featured Palin playing a different character in each episode. Based on the BOYS OWN magazines, which detailed the fictional exploits of various heroic figures, the show lampooned such activities to great effect.
